Pima Medical Institute (PMI) began in 2011 and offers an accredited Associate of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene. The accelerated program is presented over a period of ninety (90) weeks. This period is divided into six (6) 15-week semesters consisting of 1920 clock hours spent in the classroom, laboratories, and clinics. Prerequisites courses are not required as all courses are built into the dental hygiene program curriculum. The program accepts up to 30 students per year with an annual start date in March.
